Live your Dream

Munich-born American, Judith Williams founded the Judith Williams Cosmetics brand in 2007 out of a love of cosmetics and this went on to become the most successful brand in European home shopping. Judith Williams started her internationalisation in 2009 with QVC in London and is now very successful not only in Europe, but also in Australia. In 2017, she became the first TV entrepreneur to successfully expand Judith Williams Cosmetics into international stationary retail.

Judith Williams Stations to happiness

She first appeared on stage with her father, the internationally renowned basso profondo Daniel Lewis Williams, at the age of four. After graduating from high school, Judith studied classical singing at the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne and ballet at the Royal Academy of Dance. She then celebrated her first stage successes, including as “Maria” in “West Side Story”, and was well on the way to conquering the world's opera stages, but fate thwarted her plans. In the mid-90s, Judith Williams was diagnosed with a benign tumor. The doctors gave the young woman a choice: surgery with the consequence of not being able to have children or hormone treatment that would impair her voice for years? Judith Williams decided in favour of children and against a career. During a temporary job in a fitness centre, where she regularly sold an above-average number of drinks at the counter, she discovered her talent for sales and immediately applied to the shopping channel QVC in Düsseldorf - and was taken on at the second attempt.

But after that, things went from strength to strength. In 2001, Judith Williams moved to HSE in Munich. In 2004, she had her own jewellery format. In 2007, Judith Williams ended her career as a presenter and founded her first company, Judith Williams GmbH. Due to her personal history, it is particularly important to her to be socially committed. She has been an ambassador for SOS Children's Villages since 2009 and supports various women's shelters and the José Carreras Leukemia Foundation. In 2018, she took part in the RTL show Let's Dance as a celebrity dancer and made it all the way to the final, where she finished in an excellent second place - true to the motto: “You are a winner, you never lose and when you don't win, you learn!” She wanted to encourage people to rediscover themselves and be more open-minded. Her motto: “Why shouldn't we business women be allowed to be creative? Creativity and emotions are what ultimately set us apart from machines. Invest in yourself and find your inner purpose. Live your dream.”
